Ukrainian manufacturers will reduce prices by more than 100 medicines. The MOH was released a list

Ukrainian pharmaceutical producers provided the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for their own medicines, which they are ready to reduce in the near future, reported Office on February 25.

These medicines, painkillers, sorbents, antacids, human immunoglobulins, antibiotics, anesthetics, anti -epileptic drugs, antitussicle, antipyretic, drugs used to regulate blood pressure, vitamins and trace elements.

All these medicines are not included in the top 100 list that should be reduced According to the NSDB Decree.

Manufacturers will reduce the selling prices since March 2025, they say in the Ministry of Health.

Earlier, the pharmaceutical companies agreed to reduce from March 1 30% of the selling prices for one hundred most popular Ukrainian medicines.

The NSDC instructed the Ministry of Health during 2025 to monitor the implementation of contracts on medical care of citizens under the medical guarantee program in the provision of necessary medicines.

Also, the Antimonopoly Committee was advised to strengthen the control of compliance with participants in the pharmaceutical market of laws on protection of economic competition. The Council recommends that the Prosecutor General’s office “take additional measures” to identify financial abuse or opaque pricing, which leads to an artificial overestimation of drug prices.
