State banks received 63% of the profit among all financial institutions. The leader among them is PrivatBank, which earned UAH 48.35 billion.
Oschadbank was in second place in terms of profitability (11.84 billion UAH).
Foreign banks received 23% of the profit of all banks in the country – UAH 27.32 billion. Raiffeisen Bank became the leader in this category (third after PrivatBank and Oshchad) and earned UAH 6.15 billion.
Private banks increased their profit by 22% for the year – up to UAH 16.25 billion. At the leader of the group – FUIB Bank – the profit decreased by 9% for the year, to UAH 5.18 billion.
The largest increase in profit among all banks occurred at MTB bank: 13 times, up to UAH 603.59 million.
