The volume of bilateral trade between Ukraine and Japan in 2024 increased by 6% and reached 747.2 million dollars, continuing last year’s growth trend, which amounted to almost 30%. This was reported by the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko during the business forum in Osaka. She noted that Ukraine is working to increase bilateral trade with Japan and noted the pick-up in activity since the start of the full-scale invasion. Ukraine’s current goal is not only to trade with Japan, but also to attract Japanese investments to Ukraine to create Japanese products in Ukraine.
