Ukraine received a ninth tranche of $ 500 million from the International Monetary Fund to cover priority budgetary needs, Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said on July 1.

“This is the result the eighth view of the program EFF cooperation. Currently, within the program, the Foundation has already directed Ukraine $ 10.6 billion, ”Shmigal wrote in Telegram.

The day before, the IMF press service reported that the Fund’s Board of Directors completed the eighth review of the program within the expanded funding mechanism (EFF) for Ukraine, which allowed Ukraine to allocate about $ 0.5 billion to Ukraine, which will be aimed at budget support.

According to the fund, the Ukrainian economy remains stable, and the authorities have fulfilled all quantitative criteria for efficiency as of the end of March and on a permanent basis, previous measures and two structural beacons for viewing.
