According to the government official, one of the consequences of the cancellation of a separate fund for the needs of the road industry was the need to finance them from the reserve fund of the state budget.
“I consider this a poor decision. It is more appropriate to direct the funds to a separate fund, as it was before. In particular, in order to be able to pay off debts and finance the maintenance of road infrastructure,” Marchenko explained.
Instead, he believes that a systematic approach will contribute to a more appropriate distribution of funds.
