Two energy workers were killed in Odesa during a Russian attack – “Ukrenergo”

As a result of the massive attack, the Russians died on the morning of November 17 two employees of the “Ukrenergo” substation.

This was reported in the press service of the company.

According to “Ukrenergo”, they died Dmytro Kaminnyi and Maksym Shargorodskyi.

Kaminny was 41 years old, 16 of them he worked at Ukrenergo. Since 2012, he was the dispatcher of one of the electrical substations, where he died on November 17.

Shargorodskyi was 44 years old. He worked at the Ukrenergo substation since 2005 – as an electrical fitter and electrician, and then as a dispatcher. From the beginning of the full-scale war until May 2023, he was mobilized. After returning, he continued to work as an electrician.

The Ministry of Energy added that Dmytro Kaminnyi and Maksym Shargorodskyi worked at one of the Ukrenergo substations in the Odesa region, which was hit by a direct enemy attack.

Before that, the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office announced that due to Russian shelling of the energy infrastructure in the region, two employees of the energy facility were killed – a pre-trial investigation has been started.

As a result of the enemy attack on November 17, the energy infrastructure of Odesa was damaged, there were interruptions in the supply of heat, water and electricity in the region.
