US President Donald Trump said that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly wants to withdraw from the agreement on the extraction of rare earth minerals, and warned the President of Ukraine about serious problems if he does so. This is reported by the Reuters agency, reports UNN.

Details

According to the head of the White House, the President of Ukraine will face problems if he refuses the agreement.

He is trying to get out of the rare earth minerals deal, and if he does, he will have problems, big, big problems

The head of the White House also reiterated that Ukraine will never become a member of NATO, despite Zelensky’s desire to join the Alliance.

“He wants to be a member of NATO, but he will never be a member of NATO. He understands this,” the US President stressed.

Recall

Ukraine received a new version of the agreement on minerals from the United States. Zelensky stressed that Ukraine will not recognize military assistance as debt.

Ukraine is concerned about US control over investments and the requirement to reimburse aid. Kyiv insists on amending the draft agreement so as not to undermine accession to the EU.
