The World Bank has approved additional funding of додаткове 664 million for the INSPIRE project in Ukraine. The funds will be used for 29 types of social payments to vulnerable segments of the population, the main funding comes from Japan.

The World Bank has approved additional funding in the amount of 6 664 million for Ukraine under the INSPIRE project, the money will be used for 29 types of social payments to vulnerable segments of the population, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal said in X, writes UNN.

“Today, the World Bank approved additional funding in the amount of 6 664 million for the INSPIRE project, which will continue to support 29 types of social payments to the most vulnerable segments of the population of Ukraine. ADV 662 million will come from the ADVANCE Ukraine trust fund for providing the necessary credit support to Ukraine, supported by the Government of Japan. I am grateful to the government of Japan and the World Bank leadership for their continued support, cooperation and solidarity with Ukrainians!”- wrote Shmygal.
