He noted that the Ministry of Energy calls on everyone to consume rationally, including household consumers, utilities and local authorities.
“We should use only the electricity and outdoor lighting or advertising that is absolutely necessary. This is exactly what helps to balance the energy system,” Kolisnyk said, noting that Ukrainians are really responding to these calls and it is important to maintain the trend of rational and reasonable use of electricity.
Kolisnyk explained that power engineers are promptly carrying out restoration work at damaged power facilities, taking the necessary measures to stabilize the power system as much as possible, which helps to reduce or even eliminate power supply restrictions for consumers.
Regarding the impact of weather on consumption, the Deputy Minister noted that weather is a predictable factor that is taken into account when forming the balance. At the same time, he noted that the only reason for the use of blackouts is the Russian energy terror and constant attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
