The National Bank of Ukraine initiates the updating of norms regarding the functioning of the cyber protection system and control over information security in the banking system of Ukraine. This was reported by the NBU. It is noted that the proposals are presented in the draft resolution “On the approval of changes to some normative legal acts of the National Bank of Ukraine on information security and cyber protection”. According to the document, it is planned to improve the annual reporting procedure of banks based on the results of the self-assessment of the processes of the organization and ensuring information security and cyber protection.Advertisement: The regulator also proposes to regulate the procedure for informing the NBU about significant cyber incidents and significant changes in the organization of information security. The National Bank accepts comments and proposals to the draft resolution according to the specified form until December 31, 2024 inclusive.
