The largest cyber attack on the state registers of Ukraine was being prepared for several months, but the Security Service of Ukraine said that they could not disclose the details of its preparation. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishyna and a representative of the Security Service of Ukraine at a joint press conference. They reported that criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the cyberattack, and that the hacker group of the GRU of the Russian Federation may be behind the attack. All registers are currently suspended. The SBU could not answer whether the enemy had access to the information from the registers.
