Since the beginning of 2024 and as of December 1, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund has paid UAH 138.3 million in guaranteed compensation to depositors of banks that are being withdrawn from the market. This is reported by the press service of the Foundation. It is noted that the volume of settlements with depositors of banks whose withdrawal from the market began after February 24, 2022, amounted to UAH 9 billion. In this way, the Fund settled in full with all the depositors of these banks who applied for their due payments. As the Guarantee Fund reminded, after the start of the full-scale invasion, the liquidation procedure began in eight banks and guaranteed payments are being made. These are subsidiary structures of the Russian banks JSC MR Bank and PJSC Prominvest, the liquidation of which began on February 25, 2022, as well as JSC Ibox Bank, JSC AKB Concord, JSC Megabank, JSC Bank Sich, “Bank Forward” JSC and “Ukrbudinvestbank” JSC. Advertisement: Another bank, “Cominvest” JSC, introduced a temporary administration and the search for an investor for a settlement, other than liquidation, was added to the Fund. As of December 1, 2024, the Fund reimbursed the depositors with UAH 42.3 billion. UAH 6 million: UAH 11.4 million were received by JSC AKB Concord investors, UAH 1.2 million by JSC depositors “Megabank”. Advertisement: In total, since the foundation of the Fund, the amount of guaranteed compensation payments amounted to UAH 104.7 billion. We will remind: the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Individuals (FGVFO) during January-November 2024 paid UAH 582 million to creditors of the seventh tier – legal entities that are not related to banks.
