This was announced by the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Herman Smetanin. “UAH 100 million was received by the manufacturer of REE and REP equipment for a period of 1 year at 5% per annum. The rest of the interest will be paid by the state within the framework of the preferential lending program for military equipment manufacturers,” he said. Smetanin claims that the government is “constantly working to ease the conditions for Ukrainian arms manufacturers.” Advertisement: He added that the affordable loans program has funding for the next year 2025 — 500 million hryvnias. “We expect that these funds will contribute to the development of enterprises — and, as a result, faster delivery of weapons and equipment to the Defense Forces,” he concluded.
