For the period of martial law in 2025, the Government of Ukraine limited the payment of special pensions, the amount of which is greater than 23.61 thousand. UAH – 10 subsistence minimums for persons who have lost their ability to work, having introduced appropriate reduction factors for amounts exceeding this threshold. This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, published on the government portal, Interfax-Ukraine reports. It is noted that for a part of pensions from 10 to 11 subsistence minimums for persons who have lost working capacity, the coefficient is 0.5, from 11 to 13 – 0.4, from 13 to 17 – 0.3, from 17 to 21 – 0, 2. For all payments over 21 the amount of the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost working capacity, the coefficient is set at the level of 0.1, that is, the amount of payments after 49.58 thousand UAH will be reduced 10 times.Advertisement: It is clarified that this limitation does not apply to the pensions of persons who took a direct part in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) and ensuring its implementation, being directly in the ATO areas, directly participating in the measures necessary to ensure defense of Ukraine, protection of the safety of the population and the interests of the state in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, being directly in the districts and during the implementation of the specified measures, as well as to pensions in case of loss of a breadwinner, assigned to family members of the dead (deceased, missing) of such persons.
