In 2024, more than 10,000 employers received UAH 320 million in compensation for employing 15,200 migrants from dangerous regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy. The program, introduced in April 2022, provides for payment of UAH 8,000 per month for each IDP for three months, and up to six months for the employment of persons with disabilities. Most of the immigrants were employed in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava regions and Kyiv. To receive compensation, employers submit applications through the Diya portal or employment centers. Advertisement: To receive compensation, the employer must enter into an employment contract (especially part-time), a gig contract with an internally displaced person and submit an application for compensation through the Diya portal or in in paper form at the employment center. Deputy Minister of Economy Tetyana Berezhna emphasized that the program helps displaced people find work, and businesses get financial support.
