Sviridenko: The government has expanded the list of medical goods that are purchased at a budgetary expense

The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of free medicines and medical devices, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko said on August 20.

“We are expanding the list of free medicines and medical products purchased by the state,” she said in her social networks.

According to the head of government, from the new one in the list:

• medicine for autoimmune diseases of the nervous system and neuromuscular diseases
• Medical products for correction of complex scoliotic spine deformities

Sviridenko expects that the decision will allow “thousands of Ukrainians to receive modern and quality treatment at no additional financial costs.”

This decision was also reported by the Ministry of Health:

“The list of medicines and medical products that will be purchased centralized by public expense and will be provided to patients for free.”
