Sviridenko instructed the officials at the first meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to “determine a specific plan of action”

New Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko held the first government meeting under her chairman. According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, it took place immediately after voting in the Verkhovna Rada on July 17.

“Each minister has to determine a specific plan of action in the shortest possible time. Without abstractions, ”Sviridenko said.

She added that these plans will be presented in public and will be discussed with the profile committees of the Parliament, as well as regular reporting: “should go at a rapid pace”.

According to Sviridenko, she has a positive experience of cooperation with the economic committee in the Council and believes that constructive interaction is also possible in other areas.

“By the way, the new government is one of the smallest ministers in history. This is proof that we have taken a course to reduce the apparatus, ”she said.

The Verkhovna Rada of July 17 supported by Zelensky’s changes in government. In particular, the former Prime Minister Denis Shmigal headed the Ministry of Defense.

In the morning of July 17, Parliament approved Yulia Sviridenko’s candidacy for the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine.
