Prices for dairy products in Ukraine will continue to rise at least until early 2025 due to a significant increase in the cost of raw milk.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine Vadym Chaharovsky on the air of Kyiv24, reports UNN.

As for prices for Ukrainian consumers, they will continue to rise. I predict that this will continue at least until the beginning of January 2025

According to him, this is due to the fact that retail chains do not react so quickly to the rise in prices for raw milk, namely dairy products, which would compensate for the difference in price increases.

They raise prices by 5-7%, and we see that since August, dairy prices have increased by more than 30%. I predict that prices will rise by another 5-7%

Recall

Due to difficult weather conditions this year, cabbage prices in Ukraine are expected to rise as the heat wave has prevented the crop from growing normally. High vegetable prices are also driven by other factors, including a shortage of labor due to the war and higher prices for fertilizers and plant protection products on the global market.
