From January 1, 2025, the government will introduce a monthly “teacher supplement” to the salary in the amount of 1,000 hryvnias “on hand”.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
“From September 1, 2025, we will increase this payment to UAH 2,000 “in the hands” of each teacher,” he added.
Shmyhal noted that this decision is part of supporting those “who today teach and educate the youth who will build the future of Ukraine.”
