Prime Minister Denis Shmigal had a conversation with the current President of Poland Andrzej Duda during his visit to Kiev on June 28.

According to the head of government, the parties discussed the strengthening of sanction policy against Russia. He called for the introduction of the 18th Package of Sanctions, which are more noticeable to “increase the pressure on the aggressor and force Russia to sit at a table of negotiations on a fair peace.”

“They stopped separately on Russian frozen assets. Thank you for launching ERA programswhich is the help of our economy. However, this is not enough. It is necessary to find a clear political and legal mechanism for the full confiscation of these assets, followed by the reconstruction of Ukraine and strengthening our and European security, ”the head of the government added.

The Duda press service notes that during his visit to Kiev he discussed with Shmigal “Polish-Ukrainian cooperation and future mutual relations”.
