Power outages have not returned, this is “hype” and “lies” – the Minister of Energy

Outages have not returned, and restrictions for industry are a temporary phenomenon due to unusual situations at generation facilities.”, — write: www.epravda.com.ua

Blackouts have not returned, and power restrictions for industry are a temporary phenomenon due to emergency situations at generation facilities.

“Novinam.Live” was informed about this by the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko.

“No outages have returned. This is a temporary phenomenon. Unfortunately, the generation facilities that have been restored can break down. This happened. All these breakdowns will be eliminated and the situation will normalize,” he said.

In addition, according to Galushchenko, the import of electricity to Ukraine has fallen significantly. “It is almost gone. Today’s import amounted to about 100 MW,” the minister added.

He noted that the ministry has developed mechanisms for business in which it imports 80% of electricity, and the remaining 20% is provided by Ukraine and ensures the absence of blackouts. But business does not use it.

“Nothing dramatic happened in the system, all this “hype” and shouts about the fact that everything has returned (blackout – EP) is a lie. I urge you to trust official sources,” Galushchenko concluded.

We will remind:

Due to the shortage of power in the power system, capacity limitation schedules (GOP) are being introduced on the territory of Ukraine.

On Wednesday, November 13, Kyiv will limit electricity consumption for businesses.

During the day on November 13, there are power restrictions for industry, but they will be canceled in the evening.
