In particular, the government resolution on the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Service has expanded. From now on, combatants in these formations will also be entitled to a one -time cash reward.
The grounds for such payment determined the duration of service in combat conditions, as well as direct participation in hostilities in the areas of hostilities: in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, in the “gray zone” between positions of defense forces and troops of the Russian Federation, as well as in the territory of Russia.
In addition, the government has specified the procedure for approval of the list of positions for military service of persons aged 18 to 25 years. From now on, this list will be formed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the National Guard Directorate and the State Tax Service Administration in agreement with the General Staff.
The procedure of medical examination for citizens wishing to join the service, including a psychiatrist examination, has also been simplified.
In February, the Ministry of Defense reported the launch of the Project “Contract 18-24”, which provides for Stacking volunteers at the age of 18-24 years of annual contract for UAH 1 million. Subsequently, the Defense Ministry said that those volunteers who have joined the army earlier could receive these funds.
The legislation of Ukraine provides mobilization of conscripted ages of 25 to 60 years.
