Norway will join the “Danish format” of support – direct financing of the production of Ukrainian weapons and equipment.
About this informs Prime Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov.
It is noted that Norway’s decision will allow faster production and delivery of the necessary weapons for the Ukrainian defense forces.
In addition, Umerov discussed a new format of cooperation – the “Norwegian model” with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Har Støre and Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gramm.
“It’s about a new model of investing in Ukrainian defense technology companies. Details later,” Umyerov said.

Norway approved the decision to allocate up to 967 million kroner (about 89.9 million dollars) to four new projects aimed at increasing capacity, in particular for the production of rocket engines and components for creating explosives.
Norway provided Ukraine a license for the production of 155 mm shells and agreed to finance this process.
