According to “European Truth”, this is stated in the message of the Moldovan government. Among other things, the Emergency Commission approved the allocation of 20 million euros allocated by the European Union for the purchase of natural gas energy in Europe at market prices. This gas will be supplied by Energoom to Transnistria Tiraspolgaz, but not more than 3 million cubic meters per day. How much gas will be purchased at EU funds, does not specify. At the same time, it is known that on February 1, Moldovagaz has already started supplying the first volume of 3 million cubic meters of gas to Transnistria. Energocom will purchase electricity for 10 million euros for the Dniester Right Bank from the European Union and Ukraine. The decision of the Moldova Emergency Emergency Commission provides that Transnistria is obliged to provide gas, light and warmth of household consumers, schools, hospitals and Moldavska DRES – the main enterprise of electricity on gas in the region. Additionally, the purchases of natural gas and electricity, as well as their supply, are exempted from VAT. It is known that since January 1, 2025, due to the end of the transit contract, Gazprom stopped the supply of gas through Ukraine, referring to the unregulated debts of Moldovagaz. On the eve of Moldova, she announced the final agreement with the EU on financial assistance provided to the country to overcome the energy crisis – it is about 64 million euros, of which 20 million are provided for gas for Transnistria.
