Inflation in the consumer market in March 2025 compared to February 2025 amounted to 1.5%, since the beginning of the year – 3.5%. Core inflation in March 2025 compared to February 2025 amounted to 1.4%, since the beginning of the year – 3.4%
It is reported that in the consumer market in March, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.7%.
Eggs rose in price the most – by 18%. Clothes (13%) and shoes (13.3%) also rose in price. Prices for fruits, non-alcoholic beverages, sunflower oil, vegetables, processed grain products, bread, meat and meat products, milk, and butter increased from 0.6% to 6.6%. At the same time, rice and lard decreased in price by 0.5%.
Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 1.9%, which is associated with an increase in the price of tobacco products by 2.4%. Prices for transport increased by 0.2%, mainly due to an increase in the price of travel in railway and road passenger transport by 4.4% and 1.5%, respectively. At the same time, fuel and lubricants decreased in price by 0.9%.
Also in March, compared to February, the cost of services for the management of apartment buildings increased by 9.5%.
