In Kryvyi Rih, the situation with heating is critical – the Ministry of Development

More than 100,000 people in Kryvyi Rih are without heating.

About this informs press service of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

It is noted that currently 934 residential buildings, 11 health care facilities, including Kryvorizka city hospital No. 16, where an inpatient works, 43 educational institutions, as well as the territorial center of social protection remain without heat in the city. These are about 110,000 residents who still remain without heating.

First Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Vasyl Shkurakov held an urgent meeting regarding the critical situation with the heating season in Kryvyi Rih.

Shkurakov instructed to prepare an emergency plan for the restoration of heat supply for all subscribers as soon as possible. It should contain clear deadlines, responsible persons and a daily reporting mechanism.

It is reported that control over solving the problem with heat is entrusted to all levels: the Ministry of Development, JSC “Naftogaz”, DniproOVA, the city government. In addition, the issue of heat supply to Kryvyi Rih will be under constant control of the Headquarters for preparing for the heating season.

At the same time, the State Emergency Service together with local authorities are ready to deploy additional Points of Invincibility, if the need arises.
