The draft state budget for 2025 provides for a 69.2% reduction in funding of the State Agency for Cinema.
According to draft law on the state budget No. 12000, registered on the website of the parliament on September 14, it is proposed to allocate 204.1 million UAH to the State Agency for Cinema in 2025, of which 30.4 million UAH – for management and management in the field of cinematography and 173.7 million hryvnias – for state support of cinematography, in particular the documentation of war crimes.
In the state budget for 2024, State Cinema was allocated 663.4 million UAH, of which 28.7 million UAH – for management and management in the field of cinematography and 634.7 million UAH – for state support of cinematography, in particular the documentation of war crimes.
