The government is introducing a housing rental subsidy for internally displaced persons as part of the “Winter Support” initiative. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal. According to him, this program will start in January next year. “Forcibly resettled people who spend more than 20% of their income on housing rent will be able to apply for a subsidy, and the state will partially compensate them for these costs,” Shmyhal noted.
