The Business Ombudsman Council, which helps entrepreneurs to counteract the abuse of government agencies, received 1191 complaints from companies in 2024. The press service of the council reports. In the previous year, there were more than 1336 complaints. The main complaints concerned tax issues (61%of the total number of business complaints), law enforcement agencies (13%), state regulators (7%), customs issues (6%), local authorities Self -Government (4%). Advertising: 659 cases were closed according to the complaints, 64% were completed successfully. The council helped to save UAH 2.2 billion for Ukrainian entrepreneurs. According to the results of regional visits, it was possible to exclude a liquor plant in Cherkasy region from the list of risky taxpayers. It was also possible to cancel tax notices-decisions on increasing the company’s income in the amount of more than UAH 1 billion for the manufacturer and distributor of wood plates from Volhynia. Advertising: helped the plant from Ternopil to restore the production of lamps and continue supply (the case is ongoing).
