The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development launched the process of purchasing gas power plants for Ukrnafta within the framework of the loan and donor agreement. The director of the company, Serhii Koretskyi, reports this. This is an open one-stage competition, applications for participation in which are accepted until January 27, 2025. At the moment, two tenders have been announced for the purchase of equipment, which are conducted through the EBRD electronic platform. The first tender provides for the supply of gas-piston power plants and cogeneration plants for three facilities with a total electrical capacity of about 70 MW. The purchase of main auxiliary equipment and related services is also provided for.Advertisement: The second tender concerns the supply of modular power plants with gas engines in containers with a total capacity of about 56 MW, including auxiliary equipment and related services. “This is the first stage of the implementation of distributed generation projects at Ukrnafta. After the purchase of equipment, the selection of contractors who will perform construction and installation work will begin. All gas-piston power plants are planned to be manufactured, delivered and installed by the end of 2025,” Koretskyi said. The financing of the project is carried out at the expense of the EBRD loan, as well as with the involvement of investment grants from the Netherlands, the USA, the Kingdom of Norway and a special grant for technical cooperation. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and PJSC “Ukrnafta” concluded a loan agreement for 80 million euros.
