In August 2024, industrial inflation in Ukraine amounted to 31.2% in annual terms, which is 2.1 percent less than in July (33.3%).
Such data are provided by the State Statistics Service.
The largest annual price increase was recorded in the energy sector (supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning) – by 56.2%.
In the mining industry, the index increased by 7.4%, in the processing industry – by 9.2%. In the field of mechanical engineering, the indicator increased by 5.8%.
At the same time, the price index of consumer goods of short-term consumption increased by 10.2% in annual terms. Long-term use – by 5.5%.
