Due to massive enemy shelling on November 17, several railway sections in the south, west and north-east of Ukraine were de-energized.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
As of 10:20 a.m., de-energized sections of tracks are connected to nearby substations, most trains continue to run with regular electric locomotives. Delays on certain routes were previously reported.
At stations where the power supply has not yet been restored, trains move under reserve locomotives.
