Bad weatherAs a result of adverse weather conditions (precipitation and gusts of wind), as indicated, as of the morning, 10 settlements in one of the western regions were de-energized. Emergency recovery work is ongoing. Oblenergo brigades are working to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible, Ukrenergo noted.
Consumption”Electricity consumption has increased. Today, April 7, as of 9:30, its level was 16% higher than at the same time on the previous working day – Friday. The reason is a significant decrease in air temperature and cloudy weather throughout Ukraine, which causes low efficiency of household solar power plants,” Ukrenergo reported.
Currently, the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover from Russian massive missile and drone attacks. Emergency recovery works at energy facilities are ongoing.
“Today, from 8:00 to 21:00, there will be a need for energy conservation. Please, if possible, limit the use of powerful electrical appliances at this time and do not turn on two powerful devices at the same time,” Ukrenergo stressed, noting that the situation in the energy system may change.
