It is noted that according to the plan to increase the capacity of the power plant, the number of wind farm turbines will increase from 19 to 83. 64 turbines are planned to be purchased from Vestas. The power of the station will increase four times – from 114 to 500 MW. Under the terms of the agreement, banks including Danske Bank will provide 370 million euros in loans guaranteed by the Danish Export Investment Fund – most of which will be used to finance the Vestas turbines. The remaining cost of the project will be financed by DTEK with its own funds. Advertisement: It is noted that the cable networks and the foundation have already been laid. The company plans to complete construction by the end of 2026. DTEK predicts that at full capacity, the Tyligul wind farm will produce 1.7 TWh of electricity per year, which is equal to supplying 900,000 households with electricity.
