The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide a 25 million euro loan to the household appliances and electronics retailer Comfy (Comfy Trade LLP) for network development. This is stated in the bank’s message. The total amount of the project will be 34.3 million euros, of which 25 million euros will be directed to the development of the Comfy network. The bank loan will be supplemented by a grant of 500,000 euros from the Japan-EBRD Cooperation Fund (JECF), and up to 75,000 euros will come from the Action for Equality and Gender multilateral donor fund. The project is aimed at increasing inclusiveness and energy efficiency of business.
