Chernyshov received UAH 90,526 in salary from the economic and financial department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers last year.

Before becoming Deputy Prime Minister in 2024, Chernyshov headed Naftogaz and received UAH 25,111,393 in salary and UAH 4,605 in other additional benefits from the company last year.

In addition, Chernyshov received UAH 6,047,661 in interest from Oshchadbank, UAH 3,390,000 from the alienation of movable property (except for securities and corporate rights), and interest on domestic government bonds amounted to UAH 747,040.

His wife Svitlana received a salary of UAH 655,753 from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and UAH 8,681 in fees and other payments, UAH 5,008 in fees and other payments from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Svitlana also received UAH 1,445,418 from entrepreneurial activity.
