Cabinet of Ministers renews the competition to the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia: temporary composition will remain for 6 months

The Cabinet of Ministers is resuming the competitive selection of members of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia, which was suspended due to martial law. A temporary board has been appointed for the period of the competition for 6 months, the Ministry of Development said on Saturday, UNN reports.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has renewed the competitive principles for selecting members of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia,” the statement reads.

Earlier, the competitive selection was suspended for the period of martial law. 

“At the same time, in order to ensure the continuous operation of the management system of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, the government has decided to elect members of the Supervisory Board for a period of six months – for the period of the competition. During this period, Anatoliy Amelin, Alexander Dolla and Cheetah Hafer will continue to work as independent members of the Supervisory Board to maintain the company’s management. Oleksandr Kamyshin, Serhiy Leshchenko and David Lomdzharia remain the state representatives on the Supervisory Board,” the Ministry of Development said.

The term of office of the members of the supervisory board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, as noted, was to expire on December 29, 2024.
