The director of SE “Defense Procurement Agency” Marina Bezrukova appealed to President Vladimir Zelensky to intervene in a conflict situation that arose around AOP. On her Facebook page, she posted an open letter to Zelensky. “The essence of the problem is not just an attempt to release me, but in the actual destruction of the institution in violation of all possible laws and international obligations of Ukraine,” Bezrukova wrote. According to her, due to the change of manager the work of the agency was actually blocked for a whole week. Bezrukova believes that this situation threatens a critical supply to the Armed Forces, undermines the trust of international partners and harms the country’s security.
