In Ukraine, from September 16 to 23, the average price of liquefied gas increased by UAH 1.65/l, up to UAH 32.66/l. Since the beginning of the month, the increase was UAH 3.73/l.

The price of gas in the UPG network increased the most – by UAH 2.29/l, to UAH 32.51/l. UAH 2/l was added to premium (OKKO, WOG, SOCAR) and the consolidated network of the “Privat” group. The price of gas in the last month reached the level of market makers – UAH 33.98/l.
As the publication writes, this is not the last increase in the price of gas in “premium” this month. “Cheap stocks are running out, and taking into account only new imports at the end of September, the ceiling price will reach UAH 35/l,” said one of them.
The price is not far from “green” and KLO with a ceiling price of UAH 33.49/l (+ UAH 1.70/l per week).
On average, the price for a resource in the VST network increased by 50 kopecks/l, up to UAH 31.90/l.
In general, during the week, the price of gas at other operators increased by UAH 0.60-1.70/l
As noted in “A-95”, since the beginning of the week, the wholesale price of LPG has increased by 810 UAH/t (0.44 UAH/l) on average, since September 1 – by 4,210 UAH/t (+2.27 UAH/ l), up to UAH 54,250/t (UAH 29.30/l). Thus, the growth in retail was greater than wholesale and contributed to the improvement of the margin.
“Now the profitability depends on the amount of cheap residuals. If they are not taken into account, but only considering the cheapest gas from the south, then the margin is up to UAH 1.80/l. This is lower than the level that was in the first half of the year,” added one of the networks.
