The Administrative Council of the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund appointed Olga Bilay as the new managing director.
Interlocutors familiar with this decision informed the EP about this.
Bilay was the deputy of the former managing director Svitlana Rekrut, and also performed the duties of the head of the Foundation after the end of her term of office.
Olga Bilay has been working in the banking sector since 2002. She started her career at the “PUMB” bank, where she worked until 2007.
In May 2007, she joined “Svedbank”, where until October 2013 she worked in corporate business and in the office of financial restructuring and problem loans.
In 2013-2014, Dmytro Firtash worked as Deputy Director of the Troubled Assets Department of Corporate Business of Nadra Bank.
From the end of 2014 to 2017, she worked as the deputy director of the debt restructuring and collection department of Oschadbank.
Olga Bilay started working at the Deposit Guarantee Fund in 2017. Since 2019, she has become the deputy managing director of the fund.
In her latest declaration for 2023, Olga Bilay indicated 2 apartments in Kyiv (54.2 and 125.1 square meters), a 2020 Toyota RAV-4 car, accounts in Oschadbank, Privatbank, Taskombank and $17,000 in cash.
We would like to remind you that on July 17, the 5-year term of office of the previous managing director of the FGVFO, Svitlana Rekrut, ended.
