NATO is not only stopping Russia, but NATO is also stopping us. Volodymyr Zelenskyi told about this in an interview with the American podcaster Lex Friedman.
– When we talk about NATO, NATO does not only stop Russia. Don’t forget, NATO stops us too, because justice will not be for everyone. We know that NATO does not have the right to resolve certain issues by war. NATO is a security alliance, it is protection. This is not brainwashing, so what does Putin say. This is not an offensive, this is a defensive, security alliance union. And this is security for Russia, – said Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that he does not care what NATO guarantees can be given to Russia and what will be its fate after the end of the war. At the same time, he emphasized that Russia should bear responsibility for the crimes committed.
– To be honest, after the end of the war, I am not at all interested in what will happen to them in the future. But these are our borders, and we must understand what is happening there, Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyi added that “NATO’s guarantees for Ukraine, in general, are security guarantees for Russians as well.”
– And honestly, I’ve already talked about it many times… Someone decided to freeze support. We will not give you anything, you cannot fight and continue. So, we stop when we stop… And no one took responsibility. None of the killers will end up in prison. All sanctions will be lifted. Read American writers, always after any war there is no justice for people. There must be a punishment for a crime. If there is no justice and the killers are not punished, why don’t these people (who lost someone) come back with hatred? They will definitely return, the president said.
