Zelensky stated that he agreed the basic principles of US agreements on weapons

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the preparation of US agreements on weapons. According to him, the agreement between countries will increase the defense capability of the USA, Ukraine, as well as their partners. The Head of State stated this during a traditional evening address.

– today agreed the basic principles of our agreements with America – Ukraine – United States on weapons. Large -scale agreements, I spoke about them with President Trump, and we expect – we can do. It will accurately strengthen both of our countries, and therefore – our allies and partners. We very much appreciate the important steps of America for pressure on Russia for peace. It is right now to act – to force Russia to the world. Yes, Moscow wants to fight in the future. But all the question is in potential, in resources for war, in money. That is why sanctions are useful. That is why the pressure can work, – Zelensky said.

The President noted that the Ukrainian authorities continue to prepare regular negotiations and meetings with partners at different levels. The main goal is to “strengthen the positions of Ukraine and all who seek peace”, Zelensky added.
