Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a video of the interrogation of the first two soldiers from the DPRK who were captured. On his pages in social networks, the president of Ukraine offered the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, to give them in exchange for Ukrainian servicemen who are captive in Russia. The head of state also said that Ukraine will not hand over those fighters who refuse to return to their homeland.
– Ukraine is ready to hand over his people to Kim Jong Un, if he can arrange their exchange for our soldiers held captive in Russia. There may be some other avenues for those North Korean soldiers who do not want to return. In particular, those Koreans who show a desire to bring peace closer by spreading the truth about this war in Korean will have such an opportunity, Zelenskyy wrote.
In the video, one of the captured said that he did not know that he was fighting against Ukraine and thought that he was in training.

- The SBU reported that the captives do not speak Ukrainian, English or Russian, so communication with them takes place through Korean translators in cooperation with the intelligence of South Korea of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
