On the evening of August 29, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky paid tribute to the victims of the Russian ballistic missile, which hit the dwelling house, taking away the lives of 22 people. Among the dead from a terrorist blow are four minors, the smallest of which is not three years old. The head of state reported this through his pages on social networks.
– I express my sincere condolences to relatives and loved ones. All the victims of the families who have lost their loved ones through Russian shelling are planned to provide the necessary support with housing. The corresponding mechanisms are already activated, – the President said.
Zelensky emphasized that this attack has become a significant response of Russia to the world’s attempts to stop the war. “Instead of dialogue about a truce – the Russian Federation continues to kill children,” he said, adding that the world should respond to increased sanction pressure and providing Ukraine with more resources for “broadcasting in the language of force – the only way to communicate with Russia.” The head of the state also expressed gratitude to the Union countries for their support.
