President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a number of important international negotiations, and also participated in the regular meeting in the Ramstein format. According to the results of these meetings, the Head of State declared the strengthening of military support of Ukraine by partners and once again called for pressure on the Russian Federation for peace. Zelensky reported this in his evening address on Telegram.
Zelensky informed that he had a conversation with Finland President Alexander Stubb. The parties discussed the current situation in the international arena, diplomatic opportunities, interaction within the framework of security formats, as well as European prospects of Ukraine. Also on Wednesday there was a telephone conversation with the Federal Chancellor of Germany by Friedrich Merz. The main attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached during the recent visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Berlin. Zelensky informed the Chancellor about the results of meetings in Turkey and stressed the need to achieve a just and sustainable peace on the European continent. In addition, the President of Ukraine participated in the next meeting of the Defense Group of Ukraine in the Ramstein format.
– Today, the Ramstein meeting took place, and it is important that this format with our partners is maintained. We are preparing decisions to support our joint defense production with partners. This long -lasting safety is our guarantees, European guarantees, guarantees for all that Russian aggression will not be able to expand and will not receive rewards. Russia must really feel that war is worse than peace. And this is what requires sanctions, especially against their oil trade, – said Zelensky.
He also emphasized the importance of stable defense support for Ukraine by international partners, as well as on the formation of a clear architecture of post -war restoration and development of the state. According to the Head of State, the international community should demonstrate the determination and unity in counteracting Russian aggression in order to ensure stability and security in Europe.
