President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia is increasing its production of drones, but Ukraine is already preparing to counter it. The head of state declared the strengthening of unmanned orientation in the defense of the country. Zelensky told about it during an evening address.
– As for drones, there will be more our own production. Today we discussed everything concerning orders about contracts and the full opportunities of our production. I will talk to our partners about new Investments in Ukraine – in our weapons. Priority-drones, drones-interceptors, drones for long-range blows. Of course, it is the front and everything that is needed for our warriors on the front line, everything that really restrains Russian assaults, – Zelensky said.
The President thanked the Ukrainian drone developers who are actively working on the creation of interceptors. He noted that these technologies are of critical importance, because Russia also increases the unmanned component of its blows. “We are preparing our opposition”, summed up Zelensky.
- On June 24, it became known that the Netherlands would pay 600,000 drones for Ukraine. In addition, the Netherlands reported to transfer to Ukraine a new military support package worth about 175 million euros.
- On June 18, the Russian Dron Kamikadze with a camera, a system of direct radio management from the territory of the Russian Federation and a module of artificial intelligence was discovered in Ukraine.
