The head of state Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian delegation will re -negotiate with the US delegation after US representatives will talk to the Russian side. Zelensky told about it in a traditional evening address.
The President reported that he had recently talked to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who is in Saudi Arabia for negotiations with the American side. According to the President, after meeting on Sunday The Ukrainian delegation will hold an additional meeting with the American delegation.
– A meeting with the American team took place yesterday. Today, representatives of the United States spoke with a team of war – with representatives of Russia. After that, the meeting of Ukrainian and American teams again. I also expect a new report, – said the Head of State. – We need a movement to the real world, to guaranteed security. And we need it all: in Ukraine, Europe, America, all over the world, who wants peace in international relations. Russia is the only entity that delay this war and mocks our people and around the world. And in order to get Russia to the world, you need strong things, strong steps.
Zelensky also stated that he was ready to support every strong initiative, which would make diplomacy more effective. And this, he said, means that pressure should be forced by Russia to end the war.
