Zelensky after a corruption scandal: Only combat officers will hold leadership positions in the National Guard

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, against the background of exposing a corruption scheme, in which they were involved, in addition to officials and people’s deputies, officials of the National Guard of Ukraine announced changes in the work of NSU’s logistics. The president said this during a traditional evening address.

The President reported that he met with NABU leaders Semen Krivonos and SAP Alexander Klimenko and thanked them for their work. Zelensky also heard the report of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko. The National Guard continues the investigation. Its results are expected to be presented in the near future.

– According to all units of logistics in the National Guard, only combat officers will hold management positions. He instructed the Minister to submit to publicly all the details of the innovations, – the President added, commenting on the situation.

Earlier, Klimenko reported that NSU officials who appear in production have already been removed from responsibilities. Investigation is underway.

• The head of the “servant of the people” faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arahamia, said that the membership of the People’s Deputy Alexei Kuznetsov in the faction of “Servants of the People” will be stopped at the time of investigation of the corruption scheme when purchasing drones and the funds of the ER.
