Ammunition warehouses near the occupied city of Khartsizk in the Donetsk district in the evening of July 2 struck drones. The Security Service of Ukraine reported this in the morning of July 3.
– Yesterday the Drones of the SBU successfully struck the ammunition of the Russian army in the village of Greater Orikhove near Khartsyzka (Donetsk region). Starting from 10 pm, explosions were heard at the warehouses, and subsequently a powerful secondary detonation of ammunition and then a fire began,-the statement said.
Khartsiz is located near the occupied cities Makeevka and Donetsk are of great strategic importance because Russia is used as a rear base.
– The enemy placed team points, logistics centers and ammunition. They are all legitimate military goals. The SBU continues systematic work to weaken the rear bases of the Russian Army. Each such special operation reduces the offensive potential of the enemy, – the SBU noted.
- On July 3, two people were killed and 11 injured as a result of a drone blow to Russia in Poltava.
- On June 27, Russian troops occupied Novosilka, Zaporizhzhia and Oboradne in Donetsk region.
