During Ama-session, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Butherin spoke about his disappointments about blockchain ecosystems, noting the problems with the work of the community and her values in the last year.

The developer emphasized that he was especially upset by comparing the platform with more “open” networks that accept any annexes, including projects from the Kazino sphere. Butherin called such criticism “inverted morality” and noted that such values repel him from participation in the industry.

However, he noted that during personal communication, many users share the former principles of the Ethereum community. It became a source of motivation for him to continue work.

Butherin also stressed that Ethereum Foundation may have to support some initiatives more actively. At the same time, he added that he still feels responsible for the community and is ready to continue to work for the sake of a joint mission.

Recall that in January, the co-founder of Ethereum confirmed that the ecosystem will continue to scale primarily through L2-solutions.
